Welcome to this month’s edition of Homemade Homemaking! I’m honored to be hosting the Healthy 2Day Wednesday link-up from Day2Day Joys this week!

For October, I thought it would be appropriate to post a recipe for homemade pumpkin pie spice.

When I was a newlywed, it seemed like I was always running to the store for something I needed for a recipe.

Whether it was taco seasoning or pasta sauce, it never occurred to me that I could just save gas and time and make my own!

Pumpkin pie spice was one of those things. Then one day it hit me–I had all the spices I needed to make my own spice blends!

Without further ado, here’s today’s recipe for pumpkin pie spice. Scroll down to check out a round-up of some yummy pumpkin recipes–and join in the link-up from Day2Day Joys!
