This is one smoothie recipe, though, that I didn’t include in the book. It’s become one of my new favorites! It’s an easy way to kick-start your day with some protein!
I actually prefer it to a peanut butter milkshake!
- • 1 frozen banana (or 4 frozen banana ice cubes)
- • 2 heaping Tbsp. of natural peanut butter
- • 1 cup milk of choice
- Blend everything together and serve immediately! Note: The banana MUST be frozen to create the thick, "milkshake" consistency. If the banana is not frozen, you can toss in some ice cubes, but it won't be as thick.
Healthy Upgrade: Add 1 Tbsp. of molasses to boost your iron intake!
