Inside: Enjoy this clementine smoothie recipe! With just a hint of banana and full of creamy goodness, it’s a satisfying snack or breakfast!
One day I was craving a smoothie but was all out of berries! I realized then that most of my smoothies contain some kind of berry in them, and I was ready for a change.
I worked with what I had on hand and came up with this creamy, clementine smoothie!
With just a hint of banana and full of creamy goodness, you might trick yourself into thinking you’re indulging in a liquid creamsicle!
This recipe is a Trim Healthy Mama E.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup unsweetened nut milk
- 2 small clementines peeled
- 1/2 banana fresh or frozen
- 1 Tbsp. Pyure or 1.5 Tbsp Gentle Sweetor 3/4 tsp. Super Sweet
- 1/2 cup plain 0% Greek yogurt OR 1/2 cuplow-fat cottage cheese
- 1 Tbsp. collagen
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- handful of ice
Instructions
- Starting with the milk, toss all the ingredients into the blender. I find that placing my liquid closest to the blade makes for easier blending. Blend until smooth!
- This recipe serves 1 and is a Trim Healthy Mama E.

Whoa…this is really good. I used raw milk, added a little extra honey and a tablespoon of grass fed gelatin as a post work out drink for my daughter. VERY tasty…it made 2 smoothies, so I made them ahead of time and stuck them in the freezer. Thanks for the recipe!!

So glad you enjoyed it!

Bananas are berries so your smoothie still has berries in it.

My kids hadn’t eaten as many clementines as usual lately, so I had some that we going bad. We tried this smoothie and it was a huge winner with 2 out of 3 kids. I used vanilla yogurt that I had frozen in ice cube trays instead of the plain greek, the honey, and the vanilla. I also threw in a few cubes of frozen milk too.
I made a pineapple orange version for myself with ice cubes of frozen crushed pineapple in place of the banana. It was delicious!
Thanks for the recipe!

Looking forward to trying some of these recipes. Thank you.
Just wondering what you would recommend for good tasting gluten free bread, buns, and chips. So many gluten free bread items taste like cardboard.
Thank you.

Thankfully, there are some yummy gluten free breads on the market now! Check out Simple Kneads. You can order online or they have them at Whole Foods!
