A few weeks ago, I was honored to join Katie at Kitchen Stewardship, Erin at $5 Dinners and Jessica at Good Cheap Eats for a Google Hangout all about frugal cooking!
We had a great time chatting and giving our best tips for buying real, healthy food without spending a fortune! We also chatted about time saving techniques for cooking food from scratch.
You can check out the free replay of the hangout below. It’s about an hour long, so it would probably be a good idea to play it on your laptop or mobile device while you are working in the kitchen, folding laundry, etc.!

My best tips for frugal cooking are planning ahead and lots of rice and beans to stretch the meat!

A very awesome video mate,
I’ve discovered that if you’re really a good cook, you can always purchase healthy and real foods without spending a fortune. Most times, some of the foods that claimed to be costly are usually not worth it.
I also love to plan ahead and then, work according to my food roster.
Thanks for sharing.
