This post brought to you by Treat.com. All opinions are 100% mine.
In the past, I’ve lamented my lack of craft skills.
I don’t have a crafty bone in my body.
I created 5 personalized cards on the site in under an hour last night. And not only did I not have to break out the glue, but I also didn’t have to set foot inside of a store–or the post office. Treat.com is mailing these babies for me.
(Have I ever told you that I pretty much despise shopping and entering the post office with my three little girls in tow?! Yes, Treat.com had me at: You don’t even have to leave your couch!)
Treat.com is an online service where customers can create one-of-a-kind personalized greeting cards from your PC or iPhone and they’ll print and mail them for you!
I’m excited to share the cards I made with you today. I made cards for:
1. My Mother-in-Law (a.k.a. “Geeda” to the girls)
My mother-in-law is the opposite of me in many ways. She is super fashionable, super trendy and just a lover of all things cute (OK–well, I do love cute things, but I lack fashion sense and am not trendy!).
I thought she would love this chalkboard style card! Since she only gets to see the girls once or twice per year, I was sure to pick a card that included plenty of space for pics.
2. My Parents (a.k.a. “Manga and Papaya” to the girls)
We live in the same town as my parents, so they get to see the girls often–sometimes daily! They help us out a lot. I thought this card was a perfect fit for them.
3. My Father-in-Law (a.k.a “Pop Pop” to the girls)
Pop Pop was my “nanny” after I had Baby Girl #3. He came and stayed with us for nearly three weeks–and even cleaned out my oven! But we usually only see him a handful of times each year since he lives about 10 hours from us. I thought this “smiles across the miles” card fit him to a T.
4. Daddy (from the girls)
My husband is SUCH a WONDERFUL Daddy to our girls. He takes them on Daddy-Daughter dates, creates crafts with them (yeah–he picks up for my slack in this area!) and just all-around cares for them like they are his little princesses.
He also loves photography. This card with so many photos will make his day.
5. My Husband (from me)
When I saw this vintage typewriter on a card, I couldn’t help but choose it to be to my husband from me. He has been so supportive of me growing as a writer.
I was able to customize the message on all of the cards with just a click of the keyboard!
