This past week I discovered a fun, FREE computer activity to do with your kids–create your own LEGO mini figure family holiday card!
My girls love playing with their LEGOS, and they were one of my husband's favorite toys as a kid. We had a blast creating our family on the screen using the LEGO characters!
You can add up to 13 family members–including yourself. You then customize each person's skin tone, facial expression, hair color and style and clothing.
Can you tell we are all five redheads? I also purposefully "dressed" the girls in matching outfits. 😉 My only qualm was that I didn't know if I should make my 15-month-old a "baby" or a "child." I opted for the child, and, alas, I guess I'm finally admitting she's grown into toddlerhood after all.
After creating each person, you "set the scene." The program has a variety of choices–from an igloo scene to one on stage with a snowman to in front of a house to the inside of a home decorated for Christmas, which is what I ultimately chose.
Creating your LEGO family card can take as little or as long as you want. It can definitely keep the kids entertained while you're cooking dinner–that's for sure! 🙂
