Pumpkin Cream Smoothie {Gluten, Dairy and Sugar-Free}
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk (or dairy-milk if you are not allergic)
- 1 cup ice cubes
- 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
- 3-5 shakes stevia extract (OR 1 Tbsp. raw honey)
- 1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice (It's easy to make your own!)
- 1 heaping Tbsp. coconut cream (I've purchased mine at Trader Joe's. It.is.divine.) OR regular, full-fat cream
- optional: 1 big squirt of blackstrap molasses.
- optional: One half to one scoop of dairy-free protein powder* or whey protein powder if you're not dairy-free.
- optional: 1-2 Tbsp. pecans
Instructions
- Pour milk into smoothie cup.
- Add ice cubes.
- Add pumpkin puree.
- Add stevia (or honey).
- Add pumpkin pie spice.
- Add protein powder and/or molasses (if using).
- Blend on high speed until ice is crushed and smoothie is completely smooth.
- Turn off the blender and open the top. Add in the coconut cream and the nuts (if using).
- Blend a few more seconds until the coconut cream turns the orange a creamier color.
Notes
I make most of my smoothies in the single serve cup of my Ninja Pro.
