Pour 1 cup half and half, 2 tbsp. sugar, and ½ tsp. vanilla into each Into each of the pint size bags. Seal the bags and put them in the freezer.
Fill each of 4 1-gallon size bags half full of ice. Add ½ cup rock salt, and then double bag them.
Remove the ice cream bags from the freezer and put each one into a gallon bag, then shake for at least 5 minutes. When you open the bags, you’ll have your very own tasty vanilla ice cream, made entirely by hand!
