Get Healthy with Young Living Essential Oils! {review & giveaway}

Lavender Essential Oil

Two years ago, I had no earthly idea what essential oils were. All I knew was that my doula told me to pack some lavender in my hospital bag because it would help relax me.

Since then, I’ve used essential oils for cleaning, disinfecting, relaxing baths and to ease various ailments in me, my children and husband.

But I had never used the ever-popular and high-quality Young Living Essential Oils until my friend Mary, of The Encouraging Home, gave me a set as a baby gift!

Mary and I live less than an hour apart but we had never met until she attended a small baby “brunch” for me back in the summer. She was so generous to give me a set of lavender, peppermint and thieves oil–along with the Young Living Essential Oils Gentle Babies book!

I have been so thankful for this gift, as I have already used the oils many times! Even before my baby was born, I used lavender and peppermint when I was trying to bring on labor, and my husband spritzed me with a spray bottle of diluted oils while I was in labor.

A couple of weeks ago, the older girls and I had a flu-like virus. We rubbed thieves on our feet to try to bring the fever down.

And these are merely a few examples. I cannot tell you the number of times I have referenced the Gentle Babies guide to essential oils in the past few months. I keep it on my nightstand!

Mary has graciously offered to give one Humbled Homemaker reader a bottle of either lavender or peppermint essential oil! (Winner’s choice!) Thank you, Mary!!

Mary has also written an entire eBook on how essential oils can improve your health and home! This book is FREE to her blog subscribers! Hop on over to The Encouraging Home and subscribe to receive your free book!
