The idea of freezer cooking has always intrigued me, but I’ve always shied away from it myself.
Why? For one, I thought we didn’t have enough freezer space (which I’ve since learned wasn’t really true), and I also thought it would be much too challenging to come up with gluten-free, dairy-free freezer meals to match our dietary restrictions.
Boy was I wrong!
As I’ve been digging around the internet here lately, I’ve discovered a plethora of gluten-free, dairy-free freezer meal recipes!
And, my parents gifted us with a chest freezer this past Christmas!
I now have no excuse not to experiment with freezer cooking! I’m hoping to dip my feet into this method of cooking this summer. I believe it may help simplify our lives, and we will run to the taco truck down the street much less often during busy seasons. 😉
Today, I wanted to share with you the list of gluten-free, dairy-free freezer meals I’ve accumulated.
Enjoy!

Wow! Thank you for this list. Since writing the ABC’s of freezer Cooking I’ve had to go dairy free, and I’ve been overwhelmed trying to find new recipes that everyone in the family would enjoy. My meal plans have basically been revolving around the same 8 staples, and things have been getting, shall we say, a little boring lately. I can’t wait to try some of these.
Kelly @ New Leaf Wellness
Thanks so much for sharing! I think the best way to get started with freezer cooking is to just dive in. Once you make one or two meals and see how they simplify your life, you’ll be hooked! 🙂

I’ve always wanted to try freezer cooking! I’m so excited about the freezer ebooks in the bundle!
Jennifer
Thanks so much for posting this – I really wanted the bundle but I wouldn’t be able to get it til May 1st. I appreciate the “pay later” option!
Erin
Oh I am SO glad to hear it will work out for you. I hope you LOVE it! We were so excited to figure out a way to do a “pay later” order form!!
Megan
I think you might want to note that all of the recipes that you link to are not gluten and dairy free, but can be made that way. Just from looking at the crockpot orange chicken neither Sweet Baby Ray’s or Soy Sauce are gluten free.
Erin
Oh thanks for pointing that out, Megan. I thought they all were…I use GF soy sauce. For Sweet Baby Ray’s, I would sub in a GF bbq sauce.
Cari G.
Thank you for this!! 🙂 I’m hoping I can have a decent stockpile of frozen meals for when our baby boy comes next month. We’re gluten and soy free, but we have a pretty decent GF/SF mock soy sauce recipe we’ve worked up that hopefully will turn out well in some of these recipes. I think you’ve just made my life much easier!
Lacey
Do you have a favorite kind of gluten free wrap and/or tortillas?
Sharon G
Please be advised that at least one of the recipes calls for reduced sodium Soy Sauce. Soy Sauce is NOT gluten free. Please, if you are advertising something as gluten free, watch the ingredients so someone without lots of knowledge doesn’t inadvertently “gluten” a loved one while trying your recipes.
This has happened to me many times, especially when the recipe was described as “gluten free” and one of the daughters in law try to do me a favor and cook a wonderful meal for me. If gluten free is a medical necessity, such as with celiac, this would make someone really sick.
Thanks for your posts, I do read and follow your page.

Wow- thank you so much for sharing! I was feeling the same way with our new dietary restrictions and this will help us so much!!
