I am not one for making desserts every single night, but I do love to break out the treat recipes around the holidays.
The following six Christmas treats are on my must-make list this year!
You may notice that two of the six are pumpkin flavored. I can have pumpkin all year long, and I do not think it’s time to put it away just because Thanksgiving is over!
One thing these Christmas treats have in common is that they are full of creamy goodness.
I recommend using organic dairy for milk, butter and cream (and cheese–although not any of these recipes call for cheese!)! Horizon Dairy is one organic brand that carries milk, half & half, heavy whipping cream, and butter. More than 20 years ago, Horizon became the first company to supply organic milk nationwide.
But if you’re dairy-free, all of these recipes also have modifications for you! (Silk is my preferred brand for dairy-free ingredients.)
Enjoy!
