Pretty Up Your Hair…and Help a Family Out {Lilla Rose review & giveaway!}

It’s no secret that I love Lilla Rose products. I’ve hosted two giveaways for the company’s fabulous flexi clips over the course of the last year, and I honestly wear one just about every day!

But when my Lilla Rose rep, Sue Ellen, approached me about another review, I asked if I could try something different: the adjustable headband. You see, Lilla Rose offers more than just the popular flexies. The company carries a full array of beautiful hair jewelery!

I was a little apprehensive about whether or not I’d love my headband just as much as I adore my flexi clips. Would they be as comfortable? Would they be as attractive? And more than anything–would they be easy to put in place for this ever-humbled homemaker who just doesn’t quite know what to do with her hair?!

I can honestly say YES to all of the above! Not only is the adjustable headband beautiful, but it’s very easy to affix (just like the flexies!), and unlike the timeless hard plastic headbands that I wore in my youth, they are uber comfortable. I hardly even know it’s there!

I love the option the headband gives me to wear my hair down but still keep it out of my face. Keeping hair out of your face is a MUST for homemakers!

The best part? Since the headband is adjustable, you AND your daughters can wear it!

This week, I am excited to help Sue Ellen raise money for one of her best friend’s daughter–Chelsea. Chelsea has Down Syndrome, and Sue Ellen is donating 25% of ALL sales this week to this precious little girl! Here’s a snippet about Chelsea from her mom:

She’s a 15 month old at about an 8 month old level.  She army crawls with her belly on the floor.  She giggles when tickled.  She can stand for awhile at the couch but needs help sitting down or she’ll flop down too hard.  She says, “Ma-ma” and “Di-da” but the rest is just baby babble.  She’s very strong but sits slouched and floppy because she has low muscle tone, a trademark of Down Syndrome.  She is growing and developing very well and her 3 older sisters are her best friends and best therapists.  We have PT, OT and self help therapy about 7 times a month and we are greatly encouraged by our ECI friends.  Our DS baby is one of the stronger ones we believe.  We also believe she was no accident.  She was designed with three copies of her 21st chromosome for a reason and she has opened up a whole new arena of ministry for our family.  We have gathered four other families with DS children in our area to do the Buddy Walk with us Oct. 20.  We are excited to see what Chelsea Grace will become.  Right now she is our joyful baby, a true blessing just like all my kids!

If you’ve been eager to try a flexi–or a headband–but have waited, now is the time to take the plunge if you want to help little Chelsea! If you already own flexi clips, I encourage you to give a headband a try. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed!

You can place a Lilla Rose order here.

Sue Ellen is graciously giving away one $16 gift certificate to her Lilla Rose store!! Winners must be new Lilla Rose customers–or Sue Ellen’s customers. (Lilla Rose has a strict loyalty policy, so if you already have a Lilla Rose consultant, please give them your business.)
