I have fallen in love with freezer meals! Check out these 21 gluten-free, dairy-free chicken freezer meals–many of which are no-cook freezer meals and/or are crock pot freezer meals as well!
It took me a long time to get into freezer meals.
Well, let me back track. I did make some freezer meals right before I became a first-time mom, but back then we were still eating mostly processed foods, and I put together the stereotypical freezer meal casseroles.
Fast forward a few years, and we don’t eat those same casseroles any more. So I just didn’t think we could really benefit much from freezer cooking.
I actually thought there weren’t any healthy freezer meals out there.
Boy, was I wrong!
Although I would still consider myself a freezer cooking novice, I have enjoyed experimenting with freezer meals over the past year (especially since my parents gifted us with a chest freezer on Christmas 2013!).
When I got a recent bulk order of chicken, I decided to turn all of that meat into chicken freezer meals instead of bagging them up and then having to thaw them out and use them in a meal.
It felt like I was killing two birds with one stone!
I made enough meals to last us about a month.
It felt like a lifesaver to be able to pull a meal out of the freezer each morning and know that dinner would be a cinch that night!
Most of the following 21 gluten-free, dairy-free chicken freezer meals are the recipes that I used that day. I hope you will enjoy them as much as my family did!
(Please note that not all of these recipes are actually written as freezer meals. For many of the crockpot recipes, for example, I just prepared the recipe according to the directions and then put the meal in a large freezer bag instead of putting it into a crock pot!)

The Hawaiian crockpot chicken recipe is not gluten-free because of the kikkoman soy sauce. There are alternative soy sauces however.
Kikkoman has a gluten-free soy sauce, Jessica.
I also now use Braggs Liquid Aminos as a replacement as well!
I use the Braggs Liquid Aminos also instead of the soy sauce but I was reading the label of the Braggs and it has soy as an ingredient. What is the difference?
The normal soy sauce has wheat added into it as a thickener. The soy itself isn’t a gluten issue, it is the additives.
Thanks for clarifying, Sarah! <3
Hi Kay! Good question! I found this on their website: Bragg Liquid Aminos is a healthy alternative to Soy and Tamari sauce. No table salt or preservatives are added. From their website: “Our Liquid Aminos are third party certified non-GMO. GMO soybeans are produced by Monsanto, and sold under the brand name Roundup Ready. These soybeans are altered to resist the herbicide glyphosate, and have been available since 1995. Bragg Live Foods buys its Liquid Aminos ingredients from a combine soy operation which, in turn, buys the soybeans from numerous sources in the central part of the United States. No Roundup Ready soybeans are purchased as part of this collective method, nor are they used in Bragg products.” I hope that helps!
The link to the Ugly Chicken is defective, but if you trim off up to the “www.stacymakescents.com” it gets you where you need to go.
These are not gluten free, dairy free. The Southwest chicken and rice chowder has cheese and sour cream. Very misleading.
Actually, that might be the only one. But still, you need to make sure they all are.
Actually, Desiree, those are listed as “Toppings, as desired” in the recipe. 🙂 They are not part of the main ingredients. They are optional.
Any dairy or gluten ingredients are optional. It took me a lot of time to put this post together, and it’s not kind of you to accuse me of being misleading.
There are many wonderful dairy free/gluten free alternatives for both sour cream and cheese.
I love this post, thank you for your time and sharing!
Thanks so much, Ule!
