A homemade dairy-free blended ice coffee recipe is a great afternoon pick-me-up!
Although I pride myself on only drinking one cup of coffee each day, sometimes I need an afternoon pick-me-up.
A quick, easy, homemade dairy-free blended ice coffee is the perfect treat that I need to get going again.
Homemade blended ice coffee can also be an easy recipe to whip up for a party, like a get together for a Monday night football game. All you need to create your favorite coffee shop flavors at your gathering is a high speed blender and a handful of ingredients!
Our family has been mostly dairy-free for the over three years now, so we make our blended ice coffees with a dairy-free milk. The opportunities for blended ice coffee flavors are limitless. You can add various extracts to enhance the flavor–like mint, vanilla, almond, etc.
One of my favorite blended ice coffees is a mocha.
Without further ado, check out this recipe for a mocha homemade dairy-free blended ice coffee!
Homemade Dairy-Free Blended Ice Coffee
- 1 cup ice
- 1 cup Silk almond milk*
- 1-2 tsp. dried instant coffee
- 1 tsp. cocoa powder (leave out the cocoa if you prefer a vanilla flavor)
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 Tbsp. maple syrup (or your preferred sweetener to taste)
Mix all ingredients together in a blender and enjoy!

*I only use Silk almond milk, as it does not contain carrageenan. Silk Cashew Milk or Silk Coconut Milk are also good alternatives.

Wow!! I’ve been wanting to make this since I saw this post and I finally did this morning. It is absolutely delicious!!! This is going to be my new favorite treat! Thanks so much for sharing this. I also try to limit dairy and refined sugar, but I love coffee drinks like this, so it’s absolutely perfect 🙂
Oh I’m so glad you enjoyed it!!
I am definitely going to try this one! I am not a big milk fan, love the almond option. I love love the touch of maple syrup, what a cool way to add sugar with a little flavor! Thanks for this recipe it will be made use off!
I hope you love it! 🙂
HI Erin…I add one little extra ingredient…xanthum gum. It helps prevent the separation of ingredients.
