Homemade Homemaking: Pumpkin Pie Spice and a Pumpkin Recipe Round-Up

    Welcome to this month’s edition of Homemade Homemaking! I’m honored to be hosting the Healthy 2Day Wednesday link-up from Day2Day Joys this week!


    For October, I thought it would be appropriate to post a recipe for homemade pumpkin pie spice

    When I was a newlywed, it seemed like I was always running to the store for something I needed for a recipe. 
    Whether it was taco seasoning or pasta sauce, it never occurred to me that I could just save gas and time and make my own!

    Pumpkin pie spice was one of those things. Then one day it hit me–I had all the spices I needed to make my own spice blends!
    Without further ado, here’s today’s recipe for pumpkin pie spice. Scroll down to check out a round-up of some yummy pumpkin recipes–and join in the link-up from Day2Day Joys!  Pumpkin Pie Spice   Ingredients:1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg 1 tsp. ground cloves 2 tsp. ground ginger4 tsp. ground cinnamon 

    Method:
    Mix all the spices together! Store in an airtight container and use in one of the following recipes!
